Hazrat Musa AS: A Prophet of Allah and His Miracles
Hazrat Musa AS was one of the chosen messengers of Allah who was sent to guide the people of Bani Israel. He was born in a time when the Pharaoh of Egypt was oppressing and killing the children of Bani Israel. Allah saved him from the Pharaoh's cruelty and made him grow up in his palace. He gave him wisdom, courage and many miracles to show his people the right path.
One of the most famous miracles of Hazrat Musa AS was his staff, which he could turn into a snake by the command of Allah. He used this miracle to confront the Pharaoh and his magicians, who were trying to deceive the people with their tricks. Allah also gave him the power to split the sea and make a way for his followers to escape from the Pharaoh's army. He also spoke to Allah directly on Mount Sinai and received the Torah, which contained the laws and guidance for Bani Israel.
Hazrat Musa AS faced many challenges and hardships in his mission, but he never gave up. He always trusted Allah and followed his commands. He was patient, humble and compassionate towards his people. He taught them to worship Allah alone and to avoid idolatry, injustice and corruption. He was a great leader, a brave warrior and a noble prophet.

Some of the major events in the life of Hazrat Musa AS are:
His birth and adoption by the Pharaoh's wife. Allah inspired his mother to put him in a basket and float him on the river Nile. He was found by the Pharaoh's wife, who adopted him as her son and saved him from being killed by the Pharaoh.[^1^]
His exile and marriage. When he grew up, he accidentally killed an Egyptian who was fighting with a Hebrew. He fled from Egypt and reached the land of Madyan, where he helped two women to water their flocks. He married one of them and lived there for ten years.[^1^]
His encounter with Allah and his mission. One day, he saw a fire on Mount Sinai and went there to investigate. He heard a voice calling him by his name and telling him that he was Allah, the Lord of the worlds. He gave him two signs: his staff turning into a snake and his hand becoming white. He also told him to go back to Egypt and invite the Pharaoh and his people to worship Allah.[^1^]
His confrontation with the Pharaoh and his magicians. He went back to Egypt with his brother Harun AS and showed them the signs from Allah. The Pharaoh refused to believe and challenged him to a contest with his magicians. The magicians threw their ropes and rods, which appeared like snakes. But Hazrat Musa AS threw his staff, which swallowed their ropes and rods. The magicians realized that it was not magic but a miracle from Allah and they became believers.[^1^]
His escape from Egypt and crossing the sea. The Pharaoh became angry and decided to kill Hazrat Musa AS and his followers. He pursued them with his army until they reached the sea. Hazrat Musa AS struck the sea with his staff and it parted into two walls of water, making a dry path for them. They crossed the sea safely, but when the Pharaoh and his army tried to follow them, the sea closed upon them and they drowned.[^1^]
His receiving of the Torah and his forty nights on Mount Sinai. Allah gave Hazrat Musa AS the Torah, which contained the laws and guidance for Bani Israel. He also commanded him to spend forty nights on Mount Sinai to receive more instructions from Him. During his absence, some of his people made a golden calf and started worshipping it. Hazrat Musa AS returned and broke the tablets of the Torah in anger. He rebuked them for their idolatry and asked them to repent.[^1^]
Hazrat Musa AS lived for 120 years and died in the land of Moab. He was buried by Allah Himself at an unknown location.[^2^] He is mentioned more than any other prophet in the Quran, which shows his high status and importance in Islam. 0efd9a6b88
